Starting at the end of June and running all the way through the month of August, there are a large number of bass fishing tournaments held on the beautiful and picturesque Lake Champlain — a lake recently ranked as one of the top 100 bass fishing lakes in the United States. 

The lake has a maximum depth of 400 feet and stretches out 120 miles from north to south, bordered by nearly 600 miles of shoreline. Winding through New York’s Adirondack Mountains and the Vermont’s Green Mountains of Vermont, it offers both sweeping views and exceptional fishing – home to over 80 different species of warm and cold water fish such as large and smallmouth bass, lake trout, Atlantic salmon, carp, steelhead, and bowfin.
