The holiday season has arrived in Plattsburgh, and that means a lineup of festive, family-friendly events. From a singalong with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the American Legion to a Christmas tree-themed arts and crafts workshop at the Adirondack Arts House, check out the top holiday events in Plattsburgh for 2021. 

Singalong with Santa and Mrs. Claus

Head to the American Legion in Plattsburgh for an afternoon of Christmas carols. Kicking off at 2:30 pm on Sunday, December 12th, Santa and Mrs. Claus are heading to the Legion to lead a festive singalong for all ages. Before the singalong begins, guests can enjoy lunch with Santa, followed by pictures with Santa, and finally, you’ll board a hay wagon with Mrs. Claus and sing Christmas carols. 

Breakfast with Santa Benefitting Plattsburgh Relay for Life

Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast while supporting a good cause at the Breakfast with Santa Benefitting Plattsburgh Relay for Life event. Taking place at Applebee’s Bar + Grill on Centre Drive, this fundraiser event invites you to join Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves for breakfast on Sunday, December 12th from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Tickets are $8 if bought in advance and $10 if bought at the door, with all proceeds being donated to the Plattsburgh Relay for Life.

Decorate Your Own Holiday Tree at Adirondack Arts House

Plattsburgh’s favourite art center is hosting a wide range of Christmas-themed events this month, and the one we can’t wait for is called Decorate Your Own Holiday Tree. Taking place on Saturday, December 11th from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm, Adirondack Art House will open its doors for a holiday tree ornament decorating party. Guests are invited to paint and decorate a handmade wooden tree ornament. Tickets cost $15 and can be purchased on the Adirondack Art House’s website.
